Careers & Pathways
Our aim is to provide authentic and engaging experiences and opportunities across a broad range of subjects and pathways. We work closely with students, staff, families, and community,, to develop education plans that allow our students to open their minds to different career paths.
We work closely with community businesses and organisation, Industry Training Organisations (ITO's) and tertiary institutions, in order to 'bring the world' to Coromandel Area School.
Our Careers & Pathways Co-ordinator provides career guidance, and develops the Gateway and STAR programmes, allowing our students to experience work placements and gain sector specific NCEA credits through a range of vocational pathways.
